Too tired to blog...

I've been trying to get my lazy ass in gear and get packed for the trip, but it won't cooperate.

Try and guess this new chart!

Funyuns are not dinnner

I was in a rush tonight and had to eat at work. So for dinner I had protein bar, a bag of Funyuns, and some red vines. My stomach must think I hate it. The best part was that I ate that crap so I could go to work again at 6:30pm, but the person I was going to meet cancelled on me at 6:15. This was after I crammed the above mentioned crap down my throat instead of going home to eat something really tasty with my family.

I did work out yesterday, a short jog of about 3 miles. It felt alright, the weather was warm (for here anyway) 30 degrees with little wind. It was pretty damned slippery though, I had the penguin hustle going on to stay upright and avoid pulling a hammy.

I felt so good about working out that I rewarded myself with one of these. It's like a power shake or gatorade, sort of....

I Need a Nap

If your idea of relaxation is getting locked inside a giant egg-like thing with your legs sticking out, then the Armchair Paradise is just the thing. I know a couple of moms that would enjoy something like this...

I was going to take a nap, but I had an embarrassing moment today when I got my wiener stuck:

I got it unstuck though and I'm going to take a nap with my cat.

I'm changing my name to Zudoarichikito

My Japan name is Zudoarichikito.
And yours?

I'm finally learning how to take care of a small child, but with this new information, I'm finding that I might not have the baby rearing skill set I thought I had.

I have also learned to tell the age of a child too:

Although I have noticed a few hygiene issues we may need to deal with:

Happy Valentine's Day!

This has nothing to do with Valentine's Day:

"The secret of getting ahead is getting started.
The secret of getting started is breaking your complex
overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks,
and then starting on the first one."

Ukulele, Not Just For Breakfast Anymore

I never knew you could do this with a Ukulele. I'm telling you, I got mad skillz with the "kleenex box and rubber bands guitar", but this guy has me beat. By Jake Shimabukuro

Everybody Poops

I need more coffee during my day

Someone should make this and give me a fully detailed report (I'm too lazy):

Coffee Fluff

Makes about four cups

4 tablespoons good ground coffee

2 cups water

1/4 cup light brown sugar

Pinch salt

2 envelopes gelatin

2 cups heavy whipping cream

3 tablespoons good rum or cognac (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla

Chocolate shavings and curls

Brew the coffee with the water using a French press. Put in a small bowl or a glass measuring cup. Stir in the sugar and pinch of salt and sprinkle the gelatin over top. Let it soften for a few minutes then whisk vigorously until gelatin is thoroughly dissolved. Refrigerate until it is set - about two hours.

Add the liquor, vanilla and a pinch of the salt to the cream. Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. Remove the cream to a separate bowl, and whip the coffee gelatin, quite firm by this point, until it is frothy and creamy. It will look like a thick dark mocha espresso drink, but still with tiny flecks of brown coffee jelly. Stir this frothed coffee jelly and the cream together.

Spoon into a mold or individual cups and refrigerate again until set - at least an hour. It will still be quite soft and creamy, like a refrigerator version of ice cream.

Only some of you might get this...

It is that time of night when I should be between the sheets drooling on my pillow, but alas, here I am falling asleep in front of the computer again. I have this habit of falling asleep sitting up and when I do, my middle finger rests on the right click button of my mouse. My fingers must need to lose some weight because I invariably end up right clicking somewhere random on the screen.

I definately have some kind of attention span issues, because I have the TV on some history channel documentary about "mega-excavators", the internet is providing some random music I found, and I'm typing in my blog simultaneously. Yeah I think some pills might help, but maybe just some self control.

It's just about that time of night when the infomercials begin to look like quality products I might need...

Good night

Oh crap I'm bloggin'

Here is my attempt at blogging the things I like, or find damned interesting anyway. Follow along and try to keep up, it's going to be a bumpy ride....
