On the brain

This is what I see the majority of the day. Images of bicycles floating around.

You says he's just a friend

True Friendship - None of that Sissy Crap

Are you tired of those sissy 'friendship' poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality?

Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship.

You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this - Just the cold truth of our great friendship.
_____________________________________________________
1. When you are sad -- I will jump on the person who made you sad like a spider monkey.

2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.

4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsiness.

9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end.
'Why?' you may ask? “Because you are my friend”.

Friendship is like peeing your pants,
everyone can see it,
but only you can feel the true warmth.

Send this to 10 of your closest friends,
then get depressed because you can only think of 4.

Have a seat Mr. Magoo

This looks like a chair I would like to make. I enjoy interesting furniture made with unusual materials. Although, the one featured below might be a little too time intensive during the growing season.

Velo Art

I'm nuts about two things, bicycles and art.

My poor family has put up with me constantly dragging homeless bikes into my garage for years. I hate to see a neglected bike withering away into the weeds. I used to be a bike-whore and would take home any bicycle related junk, but now in my old age I have become more refined (ha ha) with my selections.

I will bike in any weather, just to prove to myself (because no one else cares) that I can. That's why I enjoy Copenhagen, Denmark, because the city is a huge supporter of the bicycle as transportation.

I found this on: copenhagencyclechic.

Besides, it makes my eyes hurt and I like to share that kind of thing.
