Trader Joe's Homemade Commercial

Un-official commercial of Trader Joe's by Carl.

Mechanical Vino

An amazing work of art by Rob Higgs. This video is wonderful! It is a series of hand cast gears and levers that opens a bottle of wine. I would pay money just to watch this in person.

The Bradbury Building

I'm not sure if you are familiar with this building, specifically the interior. This is the Bradbury Building in Los Angeles, California. It was built in 1893 by real estate and mining entrepreneur Louis L. Bradbury. He commisioned a draftsman named George Wyman, who had neither an architecture degree nor experience.

Prior to this time, most all office buildings were dark and dreary in the center. This one has an amazing skylight and wonderful iron structures visible inside. I think the elevator is a work of art in itself.

I'm sure at the time it was very unusual, but it would be a shame to change this building in any way today. The interesting thing is that the designer never designed anything else of significance ever again.

Pedal Powered Snowplow

This is via 1 World, 2 Wheels. I love it! Any excuse to remake a bicycle and I get all twitterpated. Looks like Super Fun!
