Burrito Trifecta

So I got the day off today and decided to revisit this blogging thing. I have been struggling to find time to write. Maybe it is procrastination, maybe I'm just lazy, maybe it's because I've been trying to move to a new house, but whatever it is, I just can't seem to get it done. Then when I do get ready to blog I feel a ton of pressure to make it great. I don't know why I feel pressured, my audience is all of two people and they are related to me and have to pretend to like what I write anyway.

On a more interesting note, an old friend of mine just had a new baby boy yesterday. I'm pretty proud of him. It's his second one and I think he has ended up being a pretty great daddy.

I've got a big bruise on my leg to whine about tonight. Somewhere along to the way today, I ended up smacking my leg behind the knee on that ligament that hangs out there. I don't normally bruise easily at all, but I've managed to get a bruise right on that ligament (or is is a tendon, I don't remember my anatomy).

Our new house is slowly getting filled with our stuff. It's funny how when you watch or help someone else move, all their stuff looks like junk. Now my stuff is really special and super valuable, it's not junk at all. Each piece of crap (I mean super valuable stuff) I have has a little story or a specific plan to make it worthy of moving over and over. Let me tell you though, when your new home is on the second floor, you begin to reevaluate your crap......seriously.

So today I have managed to eat a burrito of some sort for every meal. That's right, I've eaten three meals today and they all were wrapped in a tortilla. And you know the interesting part, I don't give a shit either. Frankly, I like the damn things and I'm not about to stop eating them. Besides I'm an adult now and I can eat whatever I want and my mom isn't around to tell me what to do.

My wife is watching "Pretty Woman" on TV right now. We are getting ready to unplug our cable TV this week for the last time. That's right, we are going on a TV diet soon. Our current house has had cable since we moved in (pretty convenient for us, since we haven't been paying for it). But since our new place is more expensive per month, we decided not to pay to get cable installed there to save a few bucks. We have been making up all kinds of stories about how we will "get more books read", and "workout more", but I think we are going to go through withdrawls. I'll be the guy hanging out at the mall in the Radio Shack store pretending to buy a TV so that I can watch cable or standing on the sidewalk in front of random people's homes watching their TV through their window and shouting at them to change the channels.

And that's all I have to say about that.....

Oh! I'm so glad you're back! Yay! Your two fans have missed you! Maybe you should see the blog as a stress relief where you can say whatever the hell you want, and you're funny anyway, so it'll be great no matter what! No pressure!

Are you guys planning a garage sale yet? Moving really brings out the garage sale in me.

I love anything wrapped in a tortilla. Even foods that should never be in a tortilla - just for spite. There's no tortilla mafia that's gonna put a cap in my arse for messing up the tortilla rules, so there! (Actually, I can't even think of any foods that should never be in a tortilla...)

Missed ya!

(Good luck with the cable diet...you are brave, very brave.)
